Lime adhesive plaster
Lime bonding plaster provides the optimal base for coating with Tadelakt.
What exactly is lime adhesive plaster?
Our lime adhesive plaster is a mineral mortar with marble lime as a binder and selected high white marble flours. Cellulose gives the plaster the necessary adhesion. The plaster is versatile and is supplied in paste form, i.e. ready to use.
For which substrates is lime adhesive plaster suitable?
Lime adhesive plaster can be used on the following substrates:
- mineral plasters such as e.g. lime plaster, gypsum plaster, lime-cement plaster, gypsum-cement plaster
- gypsum-cardboard
- gypsum fibreboard
- lime concrete
- aerated concrete
- composite waterproofing
Which surfaces must be pre-treated before the lime adhesive plaster is applied?
These surfaces must be coated beforehand with an adhesion primer with vegetable casein:
- dispersion paints/latex paints
- loam rendering
- smoothed mineral plasters
- synthetic plasters
What are the advantages of lime adhesion rendering?
- good adhesion on many surfaces
- allergen-free
- vegan
- can also be used as a friction or smoothing plaster
What is the expected consumption?
When used on a surface with casein adhesion primer primed surface or on granular, mineral friction plasters, the consumption is approx. 1500 grams/m². If, on primed tiles, an undercoat with lime adhesive plaster and glass fibre fabric is applied, the consumption is approx. 3 kg/m².
